Yesterday, the Forge was visited by the legendary Joe H and Alaina…a great surprise and an even greater inspiration as Joe got in on the WOD, despite the fact that he had already worked out with the morning group. This man is a freak of fitness.

The WOD yesterday was 3 rds of 20 OHS (95), 25 pullups, 30 box jumps, and 35 double unders.

On Friday, we did 5 rds of 2 minute wallballs, 2 minute rope climbs and 2 minutes of rest.

Great efforts were produced by all….

He missed us so much, we worked out twice…

    Legendary…not so much.

    I do want to say thank you, though, to everyone in Indy, both in front of and behind the stopwatch. And to those of you who I did not get to workout with, I am attempting to make another visit in a few weeks (6/6-6/8), and I would love to suffer with you.

    I really wish I could have spent the whole day there and had the energy to workout with everyone. It feels great to be in that environment, to be able to help someone with their technique, to learn something new by watching the way someone else performs an exercise, or to just suffer with like minded individuals through a workout.

    To those of you who question whether or not you are spending your money wisely by going to IndyCrossfit I can say this, I have been CrossFitting for a few years now and my personal bests all came while at IndyCrossfit. This, I feel, was due to the people who make up that box. Not only trainers pushing you to better yourself, but also the people around you constantly cheering you on (some while performing the same punishing workout themselves).

    To those of you who can’t decide whether or not you can justify the expense (let’s face it, you can find a WOD for free on any number of websites) I say this, give it a shot for a month or two and see for yourself. You may be surprised how little you have actually been pushing yourself and/or how much more you are capable of.

    To Hoffy, Sulli, Sarah, Debbie, Drew, & Dawnie…next time 😉
