Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

Monday 3-24

The AM Crew did 800 m row, 21 Thrusters, 21 Situps, 21 Box Jumps, 21 Kettlebell Swings, 21 Ring Dips and an 800 m row.  Our PM Crew started doing this workout, but we had to change to a 600 m run in the middle of it.  I did this in 13:02.

Tuesday 3-25

Getting ready for CrossFit Total.  Worked technique on the squat, overhead press, and deadlift.

Wednesday 3-26

The AM Crew did rounds in 20 minutes of 5 Push Press (115lb), 10 wallball, 15 double unders.  I did 13 1/3 rounds.  The PM “A” Crew (I have split them up) did the aforementioned workout, while the “B” Crew did 4 rounds of 400 m run, 12 Dumbbell Thrusters, 12 Pullups, 12 Box jumps.

A big shout out to Dawn H. for placing 3rd at the Shamrock Games in Springfield, IL.  I, on the other hand did not do so well.  However, the wind chill at the start of the games was a blistering 22 degrees F.  If you are interested in Highland Games check out and for more info.

    Monday 3/24 PM 800M row, 55lb thrusters, 35lb kettlebell, band dips 2 for 1, did this in 17:52

    Tuesday 3/25 getting ready for CFT

    Wednesday 3/26 PM “B” crew 20lb dumbbell thrusters, band pullups 2 for 1 did this in 23:24

    Good Job Dawn, but then you were more rested than Jeff, just kidding, great job!!

    Monday 3-24 : Did 800 m row, 21 Thrusters, 21 Situps, 21 Box Jumps, 21 Kettlebell Swings (55lb), Ring Dips (5) / (16) normal dips and an 800 m row in 14:34.

    Wednesday 3-26 : Did 13 rounds in 20 minutes of 5 Push Press (115lb), 10 wallball, 15 double unders.

    After 3 months, finally feels good to be competitive on scores while not worrying about dry-heaving after each workout 😉

    Monday I did the wod with the 600 Run at each end, got it done in 19:05.

    Wednesday I was in the “A” group, this looked alot eaiser when I was reding it off the board, I struggled to get 12 rounds with 95lbs :-p

    Monday AM Crew – finished in 18:09 – the last 800m row killed me!

    Wednesday – I surprised myself, finished 11 rounds in 20 minutes w/ 75lbs on push press, 12lb wall balls and double unders.

    Way to go Dawn….keep up the hard work!

    CFT 215 squat, 155 push press, 315 dad left = 695 total.
